Projects

Save, load, and manage your duct system designs.

Account Required

Projects are saved to your account and stored on the server. You can access them from any device or browser. Sign up or log in to enable project saving.

Without an account, you can still use the calculator - your work just won't be saved when you close the browser.

Saving a Project

Once you're logged in, a Save button appears in the toolbar. Give your project a name and save it. Subsequent saves update the same project. Use Save As to create a new copy under a different name.

Loading a Project

Open the Projects panel to see all your saved projects, sorted by last modified date. Click a project to load it. Your current unsaved work will be replaced, so save first if needed.

Project Data

A project saves everything about your system:

• All segments (dimensions, materials, airflows, lengths)
• All fittings attached to each segment
• Path definitions
• Air conditions (altitude, temperature)
• Safety factor setting
• Unit system

Exporting

Projects can be exported as JSON from the project menu. This gives you a portable file you can back up, share, or import later. The JSON format is human-readable if you need to inspect or edit it manually.

Deleting a Project

Projects can be deleted from the Projects panel. Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep a backup first, export the JSON before deleting.
