Adding Components

These keys add a component connected to the currently selected node. If nothing is selected, the component is added at the root level.

Inline Duct Editing

When you add a new duct segment you can edit its dimensions inline. Tab moves between fields and can switch the duct shape without touching the mouse.

Tab (from Length)Move to the size field (diameter if round, width if rectangular)
Tab (from Diameter)Switch duct from round to rectangular and move to the Width field

To switch a round duct to rectangular, in the inline editor press Tab from the diameter field. The shape toggles and the cursor lands in the Width field ready to type.

Inline Tee Editing

When you add a tee, an inline editor opens ready to set the branch and main CFM values. The selected port after closing determines which leg you build next.

Quick tee flow: hit T, type the branch CFM, hit Enter — done. The main port is selected and you can keep building downstream. If you need to set both values, use Tab to reach Main CFM before pressing Enter.
